Latest Work

My latest painting.  Lots and lots of intricate detail, then I covered most of it up with white.  It's almost done.  Just a few more, well, details . . .

Here's Junior giving me the side-eye while examining my painting.  Obviously he hasn't been exposed to much great art.  We'll soon educate the little guy.

My Chauffeur Got Me A Dog!!!!!

ANNOUNCING . . . it's a boy!  I'm so excited!!  He's four, just the right age to train up to be a companionable little bro, but past that annoying chewing-on-my-ears stage.

My chauffeur got him at the Used Doggo Store.  There are some real bargains there, and I'm not averse to repurposing.  I think this one has potential.  He's kind of funny-looking; not very sleek and refined, more wash-n-wear.  But those sometimes make the best companions.  At least he won't always be hogging the mirror or fussing about his nails.

I'm not sure what I'll call him.  Need to find out more about his personality first.  Right now he's rather subdued, as befits a stranger trying to make a good impression.  I hope he'll fit into our laid-back lifestyle.  There's nothing more annoying than a yappy little thing with no mute button.

It's early days, but I think we can make something of him.  He's so homely he's cute.  And that burnt sienna coat makes mine look stunning.  Not that I'm vain or anything.  It's just a fact.

He came here from Texas, where I hear it's much too hot to support canine life.  So glad the little guy escaped.  He's shedding, but aren't we all?  My chauffeur absolutely insisted on washing him before inviting him into our house.  (So picky, but she's a great driver.)  He probably hasn't been wet since the last time it rained, so he absolutely reeked.  He still stinks quite a bit.  I like that about him!

It was thoughtful of my chauffeur to surprise me with such a nice gift!  I must remember to lick her face a few extra times tonight.
